About Us

Makina Takım Endüstrisi A.Ş. (MTE), was established in 1957 as the first cutting tool manufacturer of Turkiye. 3 years after establishment, company began to export its products to USA in 1960 and became the first establishment that export industrial products in Turkiye. A portion of the company’s shares were opened to public in 1968 as of today, the company is traded in Istanbul Stock Exchange.

As the biggest cutting-tool manufacturer in Turkiye, MTE continues its operations on 10.000 m2 with 190 employees. Talented Engineers produce many types of drilling, threading, cutting, and saw product groups, with workbench park and over 30.000 different types of individual products. In addition, the plant manufactures specially designed products requested by industrialist customers such as AUTOMOTIVE, DEFENCE, MACHINE and WHITE APPLIANCES for their own benches; these items are crafted according to the knowledge and experience of our engineers.

In 1998, MTE acquired the rival company Evar Kesici Takım Sanayi A.Ş. and began to serve the Turkish cutting-tool industry in a broader array. In 2015, MTE released new design SOLID CARBIDE (VHM) and HIGH PERFORMANCE TAPS which are new choice of industrial customers. MTE experienced the pride of 65th annivesary in 2022, also company has ISO9001-2015 Quality Assurance certificate since 1978.
